Challenge:
A Fortune 500 company is starting to implement Macromedia and Adobe software into its entire organization. There are numerous lines of business that require individual solutions based upon business goals. These business goals include the creation of web-based training, static and database driven Web sites, marketing materials, digitalized video and animations. In addition to software training, many lines of business are in need of workflow and resource alignment.
Opportunity:
By using next generation products from Macromedia and Adobe, Bank of America can become proficient in the creation of digital media content for both internal and external functions vital to the organization.
Solutions:
- Provided hands-on training in Dreamweaver, UltraDev and Flash to over 400 Bank of America employees during a 12-month period
- Created custom training for the Application Training department on both Dreamweaver and CourseBuilder learning interactions. (Training sessions reflected the current skill levels of the resources and the department's workflow.)
- Presented hands-on training for Adobe digital video products
- Conducted “on demand” consulting sessions that focused on the implementation of web technologies and workflow automation
Outcome:
Decreased web production and video production costs. Also reduced technical support costs by giving lines of business the ability to create and publish their own mission critical web content.
